ABOUT US
We are enthusiastic researchers joined by our interest in understanding how Raf Kinase Inhibitory Protein (RKIP), also known as PEBP1, works in cells. We met during the first workshop on RKIP organized by Professor Benjamin Bonavida at UCLA back in 2010.

In 2019, Dr. Stavroula Baritaki, organised the second RKIP workshop in Crete during which we discovered the necessity of creating an international consortium to deal with the increasing RKIP intracellular network complexity.
In 2023, Prof. Massimo Libra brought us all together in beautiful Catania, Sicily to attend the first RKIP-YY1 conference.
This website is a humble attempt to bring us together and to welcome new members who share our enthusiasm in deciphering RKIP interactome and its therapeutic and clinical utilities.
